    Birth

As your doula, I offer a steady, grounded presence during labor—sometimes that means hands-on support, and other times it means simply holding space, quietly witnessing, and protecting the sacred connection between you and your partner. My role is to help create an environment where you feel safe, seen, and supported as you bring your baby into the world.

    Birth Support Includes:
    • Early labor guidance and tips to encourage steady progress
    • Coaching to stay calm, grounded, and centered through each stage
    • Help deciding when to head to your birth location if it is not home
    • Support and encouragement for partners to confidently engage
    • Hands-on, non-medical comfort measures like counterpressure, massage, and movement suggestions
    • Guidance in navigating hospital protocols and staff interactions, if that is where you are giving birth, or a transfer is needed
    • Clear, compassionate support for making informed choices
    • Help communicating your wishes to your care team
    • Immediate postpartum care, including assistance with early recovery and initial feeding

    Postpartum

The early days after birth are tender, sacred, and full of big transitions. My goal is to gently support you through this time, when you are ready—offering calm guidance, a listening ear, and practical help so you feel cared for as you care for your baby. I wait to visit until you feel emotionally ready to process your birth experience and your out-of-town guests have gone, allowing space for calm, meaningful support.

    Postpartum Care Includes:
    • Compassionate guidance for your physical and emotional recovery
    • Gentle check-ins to support your mental health and well-being
    • Support with all forms of infant feeding, including bottle and breastfeeding
    • Encouragement and education as you learn to care for your newborn
    • Light household help such as folding laundry, preparing simple meals, or entertaining older siblings
    • Tips for navigating common newborn concerns like sleep, gas, and soothing
    • Community referrals and trusted resources for continued care
    • 1-2 in-home visits to check in, offer support, and answer questions
